JAGUAR CRUISE CONTROL RECALLS
  • JAGUAR XJS Owner Notification Date: May 21, 1990  Number of Units Potentially Affected: 32,749
    •  Component Description: EQUIPMENT:SPEED CONTROL NHTSA Campaign Number: 90V035000.
     ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED VALVES IN THE CRUISE CONTROL   ACTUATOR MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY DUE TO DIRT ENTERING  THE VALVES.  CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT DISENGAGE UNDER NORMAL  OPERATING CONDITIONS WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT
